Learn About Our Professional Martial Arts Instruction
All martial arts instruction at the Napa Taekwondo Academy ensures that our martial arts classes are safe, effective and fun.
Our instruction is focused on more than just teaching martial arts skills. We strive to tailor our martial arts teaching methods to fit the individual child. Emphasis is put on encouragement and positive correction.
We are committed to teaching the physical skills of martial arts while applying attitude-shaping exercises aimed at bringing out the best character and physical potential in each student.
Master Terry Brule began his study of Martial arts in 1990 under Phillip Fontaine and Grandmaster S.W. Lee (the founder of Taekwondo in Napa). In 1993 he began teaching kids & adults at the Public schools. Our Academy opened in 2005.
Master Brule holds international Sixth-degree Black belt and Master Instructor licensing through the World Taekwondo Headquarters (Kukkiwon), located in Seoul, Korea. He is a Certified Referee and a USAT Level-1 Coach.
Master Brule is a 1980 graduate of the Napa school system, with a diploma from the Phoenix Institute of Technology.
